We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. The candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience in Kotlin. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of mobile application development principles, be eager to learn, and possess the ability to work effectively within a team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, collaborating with other developers, and ensuring high-quality code and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to implement new features based on provided designs and requirements.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to transform wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code.
• Build responsive user interfaces as per the provided designs and wireframes.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product development.
• Work closely with senior developers, designers, and product managers to meet project deadlines.
• Integrate APIs and third-party libraries into Flutter applications.
• Work on integrating native functionality when required.
• Ensure seamless user experiences across Android platforms.
• Assist in developing Android applications using Kotlin.
• Debug and resolve issues in the existing applications.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to improve app performance.
• Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility across different devices and OS versions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
• Good understanding of Android app development.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of building responsive UI for Android platforms.
• Familiarity with local storage solutions like SQLite, or Shared Preferences.
• Basic understanding of remote databases (e.g., Firebase Firestore).
